As of March 2015 the historian Sylvia Hahn is an Associate Member of the Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research. Prof. Hahn began acting as the Vice Rector of International Relations and Communication in October 2011. From 2006 to 2009 she served as Deputy Dean and since 2009 as Dean to the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences.
Her academic focus areas include Historical Migration Research, Urban and Gender History, as well as the History of Work. She completed research stays in Germany, Great Britain and Sweden and was a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence in the United States.
