Annemarie Müllauer has studied Nonprofit, Social & Health Care Management at the Management Center Innsbruck and Services of General Interest with focus on Health Care Management at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, School of Medical Engineering and Applied Social Sciences in Linz.
Her master thesis with the title “Care of the elderly in the region Upper Pinzgau – stocktaking and recommendations for action” is concerned with the question: how can the care of the elderly be ensured furthermore for the population in the region Upper Pinzgau? Besides her scientific background, Annemarie Müllauer was working as Head of Department for Social Work and Commonwealth, as psychosocial counsellor and in different projects of the social and health-care sector.
Annemarie Müllauer is research associate at the Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research at the University of Salzburg since September 2018 and works in the EU Interreg Alpine Space project ASTAHG - Alpine Space Transnational Governance of Active and Healthy Ageing.
Social science in particular: challenges of rural areas concerning the care of the elderly, ageing society & demographic change research, strategies on the subject of age, social services and care, networking in the local community, innovative thinking and putting innovation into practice.
