Elisabeth Kapferer has studied German Literature and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck/Austria. She has been research associate at the Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research at the University of Salzburg since November 2009. Her research interests and areas of work include representations of poverty and social exclusion as well as memory studies and local knowledge with regard to poverty and social exclusion.
