Tagung für Praktische Philosophie
The Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research (CEPR) together with the Department for Philosophy organizes an annual Tagung für Praktische Philosophie [Conference for Practical Philosophy] since 2013. This conference is open to all areas in practical philosophy and related disciplines and brings together colleagues at all career stages. This conference is now the biggest event of its kind for the German-speaking philosophical community with about 100 talks. The conference is held at the University of Salzburg each year at the end of September (every third year in Mid-November).
Invited plenary speakers have been Peter Koller (Graz), Kurt Bayertz (Munster), Heiner Bielefeldt (Nuremberg), Corinna Mieth (Bochum), Monika Betzler (Munich), Elif Özmen (Giessen) and Peter Schaber (Zurich), Thomas Schramme (Liverpool) and Véronique Zanetti (Bielefeld).
